Material examined. One male, pool, Dhaundaswer stream, Garhwal Himalayas, Uttaranchal State, India, July 2006, leg. K. Kumar; two males, small ditches (with Pistia and Eichornia ), Rabindra Bhaban, Malda town, Malda district, West Bengal, India, 27 May 2007, leg. Chatterjee; five males, two females, Mahananda river, Aiho village, Malda district, West Bengal, India, 25 May 2007, leg. Chatterjee (all MNHP).
Remarks. Arrenurus madaraszi is a widespread species, known from India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, China and Japan.
