This recently discovered eucnemid species was previously known from Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia, Wisconsin ( Otto 2013a; Quinn 2014), and now for the first time in Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Specimens were taken by Lindgren funnel traps, canopy traps, mercury vapor/UV light sheet, UV bucket trap, cross-vane panel trap and flight intercept traps.
