As for the genus.

Material

All specimens from B8772 (type locality). UWBM 107637 , holotype, L 13.7, H 14.8, W 7.2 (pair); UWBM 107638 , paratype, L 10.0, W 10.7, W 4.8 (pair); UWBM 107639 , paratype, crushed, L (16.4), W (14.9) (pair).

Etymology

Named in recognition of Katie Collins, formerly of the University of Victoria (Wellington, NZ), an authority on fossil and modern crassatellines.

Occurrence

Lower Paleogene, Cuenca Member, Caballas Formation, East Pisco Basin, southern Peru.
