Etymology
Named in recognition of Katie Collins, formerly of the University of Victoria (Wellington, NZ), an authority on fossil and modern crassatellines.
Occurrence
Lower Paleogene, Cuenca Member, Caballas Formation, East Pisco Basin, southern Peru.
