Material examined. Samples from Songsaneup volcanic cone, collected 16 th Feb. 2012 by RJB (unregistered). Samples from Mt Halla near Nongyo Bridge on Rt 516 16 th Feb., 2012 (unregistered); and further under bridge on Rt 516 two mature specimens, one ( IV0000251103 ) providing DNA ( WO45 redone as w18 and as w18b), the other ( IV0000251104 ). Sanbangsan in drain next to Temple, specimens inspected but not registered. DNA results are in the Appendix .

Remarks. This taxon was first recorded on Jeju by Kobayashi (1941) is here confirmed. A redescription based on types by the author is reported in Blakemore and Grygier (2011).
