Material examined. In addition to specimen IV000024 9915 as noted above that provided DNA sample ( WO 12) and gave a result of either E. fetida or E. andrei . Two other specimens, one IV0000249919 providing DNA sample ( WO 7 that was mixed, resampled as w62 that is yet to provide results) from Songsaneup, Jeju collected 16 th Feb., 2012 by RJB.
Remarks. Cosmopolitan species, this the first record from Jeju; often confused with E. andrei Bouché, 1972 as either a synonym, morph, ‘variety’, sub-species, or as a separate species; however, several prior synonyms of E. fetida compete for priority ( Blakemore, 2010b).
