( Figs 488-490; Hab. E 77)
DIAGNOSIS. Female (length about 1.2-1.3mm): antenna ( Fig. 488) with scape broad and flat, about 2X as long as broad, its outer margin more or less straight; funicle with F4-F6 more or less quadrate; clava nearly 3X as long as broad with a weak, oblique apical truncation, sensory area extending about 0.2X along ventral margin; ovipositor as long as mid tibia; gonostylus slightly shorter than mid tibial spur. Male: unknown.
Female (holotype): length, including ovipositor, 1.27mm; excluding ovipositor, 1.25mm (CPD).
Head with frontovertex brown, occiput, scrobes, interantennal prominence and mouth margin pale orange; temple and gena pale orange with a broad, oblique, brown stripe extending from occipital margin to torulus; frontovertex metallic green between and behind ocelli, otherwise with a mixed green and blue-green sheen, this continued between eye and transfacial carina, narrowly bordered blue and purple laterally; pale orange area on temple with a metallic blue and purple sheen, this becoming brassy in area bordered by lowest part of eye and transfacial carina; darker part of temple and upper gena with a distinct coppery, brassy and green sheen; dorsal part of interantennal prominence with a weak brassy and purple sheen; frontovertex with moderately conspicuous, scattered brown setae, also a line along inner eye margin; interantennal prominence with a few scattered, brown setae; maxillary palpus white; antenna with radicle pale orange, dorsally and laterally margined dark brown; scape pale orange with ventral margin narrowly dark brown from base to about 0.75X, apex white; pedicel white with a complete dark brown, dorso-lateral stripe; funicle largely pale orange, but mixed brown on outer surface; clava dark brown; pronotum largely orange, neck dark brown, side brown; propleuron dark brown; prosternum orange-brown; mesoscutum mostly orange in anterior two-thirds with brassy and coppery reflections, area below pronotum dusky, posterior one-third of mesoscutum slightly dusky with a relatively strong coppery-purple sheen and metallic blue reflections; tegula dusky orange, apex dark orange-brown; axilla and scutellum orange with brassy and coppery reflections, these conspicuously weaker than those on paler part of mesoscutum, base of scutellum pale orange laterally, this area bordered posteriorly by a diagonal, dark brown mark; setae on mesoscutum, axilla and scutellum mainly black, but pale brown or slightly silvery on posterior, metallic area of mesoscutum; metanotum dusky orange; mesopleuron largely orange with a weak brassy and purple sheen and a large dark brown spot in posterior one-third; mesosternum dark orange-brown; fore leg with coxa white, femur mostly white but pale orange distally, tibia pale orange, tarsus orange; mid leg with coxa white, mid femur mostly white but orange at apex, tibia mostly white, narrowly bordered dark brown at base, with a slender, interrupted oblique dark brown basal/ subbasal band, apex, spur and tarsus pale orange; hind leg with coxa white, femur white with apex orange, tibia mostly pale orange, but dark brown at extreme base with a narrow, subbasal white band and a diffuse brownish band distad of this, tarsus dusky orange; fore wing ( Fig. 489) mostly infuscate but hyaline towards base and at apex, venation pale orange proximally, brown distally; propodeum orange medially, orange-brown laterally with a weak purple and brassy lustre, side dark brown with a metallic purple and green, a line of dense, conspicuous, silvery setae along antero-lateral margin (possibly originating from metapleuron) to base of hind coxa; gaster brown, dark brown dorsally towards base, dorsally with a coppery and purple sheen, Gt1 with a strong metallic green and brassy sheen, mixed coppery, especially along posterior margin, syntergum mostly pale orange with apex brown, side and venter largely with a distinct metallic green and coppery sheen; gonostylus pale orange.
Head about 4.9X as wide as frontovertex, in profile about 1.2X as high as deep; occipital margin sharp, not carinate; ocelli forming an angle of about 50°; frontovertex very shiny, mostly completely smooth, but with shallow, irregular, imbricate reticulate sculpture between posterior ocelli and along occipital margin; temple and gena with shallow, longitudinally elongate, polygonally reticulate to imbricate reticulate sculpture; scrobes quite smooth; narrowest point between eye and transfacial carina about 2X diameter of anterior ocellus; transfacial carina medially quite strongly concave in dorsal view; scrobes deep, broadly ∩-shaped; interantennal prominence dorsally rounded, with very shallow, polygonally reticulate sculpture; antenna as in Fig. 488; scape broadened and flattened, about 2X as long as broad, dorsal margin straight; funicle segments subquadrate, F1-F2 clearly smallest, segments larger and broader distad; clava hardly enlarged, about 1.1X as wide as F6, as long as F3-F6 combined, sutures slightly oblique, sensory area hardly enlarged, only about 0.15X as long as dorsal margin, apex weakly obliquely truncate; eye reaching occipital margin, clothed in very conspicuous setae, each much longer than diameter of facet; inner eye margins strongly diverging in front of anterior ocellus; malar sulcus absent; clypeal margin slightly concave medially; mandible with 3 teeth, upper tooth rounded, lower teeth acute. Relative measurements: HW 59, HH 53, FVL 45, FV 12, POL 4, OOL 0.5, OCL 3, AOL 6, EL 41.5, EW 30, MS 28, SL 33, SW 17.
Thorax with pronotum hardly exposed behind head, about 0.5X as long as mesoscutum; pronotum with polygonally reticulate to imbricate-reticulate sculpture that is similar to deepest sculpture along occipital margin of frontovertex; anterior two-thirds of mesoscutum with polygonally reticulate sculpture that is significantly deeper than sculpture on pronotum, becoming longitudinally elongate, striate-reticulate laterally, posterior one-third of mesoscutum with similar, shallow sculpture to that on frontovertex between occipital margin and posterior ocelli; axilla and scutellum with similar, deep sculpture to that on anterior part of mesoscutum but slightly shallower with more rounded cells; visible part of mesoscutum about 1.7X as broad as long with setae in middle more conspicuous than those laterally; scutellum about as broad as long, without a distinct subapical tuft, but with a subapical group of longer setae, subapical pair longest and about half as long as scutellum; mid tibia hardly swollen subbasally, basal carina extending about 0.2X along its length; hind femur about 4.6X as long as broad; fore wing with venation and setation as in Figs 489, 490; costal cell largely naked, but with about 5 setae ventrally in distal half; propodeum medially about 0.12X as long as scutellum and virtually smooth. Relative measurements: FWL 63, FWW 25; HWL 50, HWW 13.
Gaster with hypopygium reaching about 0.7X to apex; last tergite about 0.8X as long as mid tibia, with apex rounded; ovipositor hardly exserted, the exserted part about 0.15X length of mid tibial spur or much less than 0.1X mid tibia.
Paratype. Funicle with linear sensilla present only on F4-F6. Relative measurements: OL 61.5, GL 17.5 [MT 60.5].
