Espèce type: Centrantyx obscuripes Valck Lucassen, 1935 .
Le sous-genre Vitticentrantyx se distingue par la bordure antérieure du clypéus avec une élévation en son milieu, le pygidium convexe, l’apophyse mésosternale courte. Les paramères présentent un denticule dans leur partie distale. La coloration est généralement verte.
