Pseudococcus cryptus Hempel View in CoL — cryptic mealybug
Occurs widely in tropical and subtropical areas of Asia, scattered distribution in South America and the Caribbean, and Africa; polyphagous, feeding on plants belonging to 41 families, including many crops and ornamentals; a pest of Citrus. This is a cryptic species that infests both the roots and aerial parts of its hosts. Recorded from Saint Lucia by Malumphy (2012, on Annona muricata and A. squamosa ).
