2. Eyes bulbous with large crescent-shaped, strongly pigmented photoreceptor fields. Head relatively large, as long as first 5 pereonites combined, with sharp rostrum. Gnathopods with blade-like carpus. Pereopods 3 and 4 shorter than P5. Pereopods 5 and 6 with slender articles..............................................................
