Material examined. 2 females, 6. IX. 2005, Yinggeling Natural Reserve , Baisha Li Autonomous County, Hainan ProvinCe, leg. Liu-sheng Chen.
Diagnosis. Barsine pseudocardinalis is eXternally CharaCteriZed by the presenCe of a blaCk spot in Cilia ConneCting the longitudinal strip on forewing and broad hindwing ( Volynkin & Černý 2017b). In female genitalia, it Can be distinguished from other speCies in B. cardinalis-anomala ‘speCies CompleX’ (sensu Volynkin & Černý 2017b) by the large and oval Corpus bursae and heavily sClerotiZed and rugose posterior seCtion ( Volynkin & Černý 2017b).
Distribution. China * (Hainan), N Thailand ( Černý & Pinratana 2009; Volynkin & Černý 2017b), N Laos, N & C Vietnam ( Volynkin & Černý 2017b).
