Host plants. Beta vulgaris L. ( Chenopodiaceae ), Helianthus annus L. ( Asteraceae ), and Triticum aestivum L. ( Poaceae ) ( Morrone, 1993d; Lanteri et al., 2002).
Distribution. Northern and central Argentina , southern Brazil, central Chile (probably introduced), Paraguay, Uruguay, and USA (introduced) ( Wibmer and O’Brien, 1986; Morrone, 1993d).
