Material. 3 specimens (3 C).
Diagnosis. Becker (1971a, p. 26).
Description. Small elongated equivalve carapace, sub-rectangular and slender posteriorly in lateral view, flat in dorsal view. Hmax at 1/5 anterior; Lmax median; Wmax slightly anterior. Straight hinge line and dorsal margin. Anterior cardinal angle of about 130°. Posterior cardinal angle of about 110°. Straight ventral margin, slightly oblique posteriorly. Ventral and dorsal margin converging posteriorly. Regularly convex anterior margin. Well rounded posterior margin, more arched in its ventral part. Anterior part of the carapace higher than the posterior one. Carapace is slightly inflated at its anterior and posterior extremities. Surface smooth.
Discussion. This singular small species remains quite rare in the Givetian.
Occurrence. Middle Givetian (Candás Fm, mb C), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section); Upper Givetian (Fromelennes Fm), Ardenne (Flohimont section).
