TYPES: Female holotype and male allotype taken in Berlese sample of litter from closed forest at Marun , Prince Frederick Harbour , 158009S, 1258219E, Western Australia (June 6–11, 1988; I. Naumann), deposited in QMB .
ETYMOLOGY: The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
DIAGNOSIS: Males can be recognized by the folded tip of the median prong of the terminal apophysis (fig. 666), females by the very large epigynal atrium (fig. 668).
MALE: Total length 3.5. Abdominal dorsum with large pair of pale, anterior spots and few pale posterior chevrons showing through scutum, venter with large, rectangular orange sclerite. Leg spination typical for genus. Retrolateral tibial apophysis long (fig. 667); median prong of terminal apophysis sharply curved near base, distally folded (fig. 666).
FEMALE: Total length 3.5. Coloration as in male except venter without sclerite, with median rectangular patch of gray. Leg spination typical for genus. Epigynal atrium large, occupying over half of epigynal length (fig. 668); median spermathecal ducts approximate throughout their length (fig. 669).
