Holotype ♀, Belgium, Saint–André–lez–Bruges ( MNHN). Holotype by original designation.

Labels. St André–B./ E. 5–V–32 / Crèvecoeur; Misocyclops / crevecoeuri / ♀ Maneval; holotype; Platygaster ♀/ apicalis Th. Det. L. Huggert—75 [holotype ♀].

Remarks. The holotype is carded, with the left antenna mounted on a microslide on the same pin, and the tip of the right antenna missing. Maneval’s figure is misleading since the body of the holotype is somewhat broader. The three paratypes mentioned by Maneval were not seen, they were in the Crèvecoeur collection ( Maneval 1936a). This species was synonymised by Huggert (1973) and Koponen & Huggert (1982).
