Distribution in Iran. Fars, Khorasan, Khuzestan, Yazd (Linnavuori 2011), Guilan, Semnan, Tehran, Zanjan ( Linnavuori 2007), Hormozgan ( Linnavuori 2004), Kerman ( Seidenstücker 1958; Kiritshenko 1966; Barkhordari et al. 1981; Linnavuori 2011), Mazandaran ( Heiss 2002), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Seidenstücker 1957). General distribution. Eremian, extending to the Mediterranean and Sudanese regions and western Pakistan. Comments. On halophytes such as Zygophyllum sp., Haloxylon sp., and Salsola sp. ( Linnavuori 2007), and also on Tamarix sp. ( Modarres Awal 1997b).
