Distribution in Iran. Bushehr, Khorasan, Sistan & Baluchestan ( Seidenstücker 1987), Hormozgan ( Kiritshenko 1966; Wagner 1968; Linnavuori 2004), Kerman, Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2011), Semnan ( Linnavuori 2007). General distribution. Widely distributed in the Eremian subregion and extending to the Sudanese subregion. Comments. An unknown species of Emblethis was recorded by Lindberg (1938) from Northern Iran.
