Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the presence of the pronotum with small brown spots on lateral side, the mesonotum and metanotum without markings, the forewing with scattered brown shadings and brown crossveins, the small male entoprocessus, the arcessus with forked processus below the apex, and the absence of the female ventral impression.
Description. Male. Body length 9.0– 9.9 mm, forewing length 10.7–10.9 mm, hindwing length 8.7–8.9 mm.
Head with a black interantennal spots and two black genal spots, vertex raised. Compound eyes prominent. Scape with reddish stripe on outer side, pedicel brown, flagellum shorter than scape and pedicel. Frons without spots. Maxillary palpi black, labial palpi brownish yellow.
Pronotum anterior margin shorter than posterior margin, with small brown spots on lateral side. Mesonotum and metanotum without markings.
Legs with dense setae. Pro- and mesotibia with median black spot. Pretarsal claws brown, with basal dilation.
Forewing narrow, with many brown shadings, especially on base of first three branches of Rs, gradate series and marginal veins; all crossveins brown. Pterostigma brown. Costal area with 18–20 crossveins; 11–12 radial crossveins present. m1 smaller than m2; im triangular; 8 psm-psc crossveins brown. c1 smaller than c2, dcc closed. A1 forked, A2 and A3 simple. Inner gradate series with 5 crossveins; outer gradate series with 6 crossveins.
Hindwing narrow. Costal area with 15 crossveins; 10 radial crossveins and 7–8 psm-psc crossveins present. Inner gradate series with 4 crossveins, outer gradate series with 5 crossveins.
Abdomen with dense setae. Tergum VII and sternum VII subquadrate in lateral view; tergum VIII obviously shorter than tergum VII; sternum VIII fused with sternum IX, sternum IX elongated and exceeded apex of ectoproct; tergum IX fused with ectoproct. Callus cerci ovoid. Gonarcus arcuate, lateral arms broad; entoprocessus small; arcessus closely associated with gonarcus, with forked processus below apex.
Female. Body length 10.0 mm, forewing length 12.2 mm, hindwing length 10.8 mm.
Tergum VII and sternum VII subquadrate in lateral view; tergum VIII obviously shorter than tergum VII; tergum IX fused with ectoproct. Callus cerci ovoid. Subgenitale bilobed apically; spermatheca thin, vela short, ventral impression absent, duct long and coiled.
Type material. Holotype ♂, China, Hainan, Jianfengling National Forestry Park , 700 m, 2022.V.14, Yuchen Zheng & Ying Yang ( CAU) . Paratypes: 1♂ 1♀, same as holotype ( CAU) .
Etymology. The scientific name is from locality of holotype: Jianfengling National Forestry Park, Hainan.
Distribution. China (Hainan).
Remarks. This species can be distinguished by having the pro- and mesotibia with a median black spot, the mesonotum and metanotum without markings, the forewing with extensive brown shadings, and the absence of the ventral impression.
