Distribution in Iran. Semnan ( Ghahari et al. 2011a).
Distribution outside Iran. Armenia, Austria, former Czechoslovakia, Finland, Hungary, Spain ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Germany, Lithuania, Ukraine, Uzbekistan ( Yu et al. 2012), Kazakhstan, Russia ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Tobias 1998, 2001; Yu et al. 2012), Mongolia ( Tobias 1998, 2001; Fischer and Koponen 1999; Papp 2009; Yu et al. 2012), Poland ( Fischer 1959b as Opius campanariae ; Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Beyarslan and Fischer 2011, 2013; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. In Finland, it is reported from Phytomyza campanariae Nowakowski, 1958 on Pulsatilla pratensis (L.), Phytoliriomyza melampyga (Loew, 1869) ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Aulagromyza luteoscutellata (de Meijere, 1924) ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012).
