Bisaltes fuscoapicalis Breuning, 1950: 267 View in CoL .
Remarks. This species was described based on a single female from Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). After the original description and redescription by Breuning (1971a), the species has only been mentioned in catalogs and checklists. Based on the short distance between the upper eye lobes, probably it is not a true Bisaltes . Interestingly, Breuning (1950, 1971a) did not mention anything about the distance between the upper eye lobes. Unfortunately, we were not able to identify the genus and/or tribe using the photograph at our disposal. Therefore, the species is provisionally retained in Bisaltes . It is important to note that southeastern Brazil is an area where extensive specimen collections have taken place and apparently, no other specimens of this species have been collected.
