Remarks. Breuning (1943) described B. venezuelensis based on a single specimen from Venezuela (Aragua). The photograph of the holotype suggests that it is a species of Ataxia Haldeman, 1847 (Pteropliini) , and not a true Bisaltes . However, until the specimen can be examined, we prefer to provisionally retain the species in Bisaltes .
