Colouration and structure similar to those in V. robusta .

Subgenital plate rectangular with scattered macrosetae. Tenth segment broader than long. Style with outer angle of apophysis produced into a beaklike structure, inner angle rounded, sculptured. A pair of caudally diverging processes each expanded into a triangular structure with serrated margin arising from base of aedeagus, aedeagal shaft membranous, tubular, with a distal rounded expansion. Gonopore apical.
Female genitalia: Seventh sternum twice as broad as long, with lateral extensions, hind margin medially concavely excavated, caudal margin and pleuron sclerotized and pigmented.
Measurements: Male and female 6.8 mm long, 1.4 mm wide across hind margin of head, 1.6 mm across hind margin of pronotum.
