Distribution: — BOLIVIA: La Paz, Cochabamba. Margins of degraded cloud forest. 1800–2900 m elev. Also known from Peru.
Representative specimens examined: — BOLIVIA. La Paz: Saavedra, 20 km below Charazani in Río Camata valley on road to Apolo, 2300 m elev., 12 December 1999 (fl), J.R.I. Wood & D.J. Goyder 15366A (K, LPB). Cochabamba: Ayopaya, 43 km N of Independencia, 2757 m elev., 17°55.41’S, 60°52.72’W, 18 December 2002 (fl, fr), J.R.I. Wood 18708 (BOLV, K, LPB).
