Distribution: — BOLIVIA: La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Chuquisaca, Potosí. Open, often seasonally burned grassy areas in cerrado vegetation in eastern lowlands and inter-Andean dry valleys; 360–2600 m elev. Also known from Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.
