4. Oxypetalum boliviense Schlechter (1906: 622) . Type:— BOLIVIA. Tarija: Padcaya, 12 December 1903, Fiebrig 2554 (holotype B†, isotype G). ( Figure 1. F )

Distribution: — BOLIVIA: Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Chuquisaca, Tarija. Open grassy areas in the nothern half of the Tucumano-Boliviano forest belt; 1900–2800 m elev. Endemic.

Representative specimens examined: — BOLIVIA. Cochabamba:Mizque, ca. 25 km S of Totora towards Mizque, 17°53.46’S, 65°09.78’W 2800 m elev. 19 January 1997 (fl), J.R.I. Wood 11683 (K, LPB). Santa Cruz: Vallegrande, 1 km SE of Guadelupe on road to Masicuri, 2000 m elev., 25 December 1999 (fl, fr), J.R.I. Wood & D.J. Goyder 15612 (K, LPB, USZ). Chuquisaca: Azurduy, camino de Azurduy a Duraznal a 4-5 km de Azurduy, 2470 m elev., 20°07.359’S, 64°24.553’W, 11 December 2005 (fl), J.R.I. Wood & H. Huaylla 21115 (HSB, K).
