9, fig. 3. Material. 139 specimens from eight samples. Description. Test free, subspheric, small to medium size, planispiral involute coil with rounded and thick periphery. Chambers increasing rapidly in size in the ultimate whorl, the last chamber, very large in size, tends to obliterate the umbilical region. Sutures straight and depressed; aperture multiples at the base of the last chamber. Wall alveolar and finely agglutinated. Distribution. Middle Eocene–late Miocene ( Kaminski and Gradstein, 2005) .
