Description: The descriptions and figures provided by Láska (1965) and Biesiadka (1975) adequately define S. procera .
Discussion: Laska (1965) based his description of S. procera on three females (syntypes) collected from two streams, the Velká Bielá Voda in Slovakia (Ƥ, 18.7.58) and the Miloňovsky in Moravia (2Ƥ, 13.8.64). Comparison of the two female specimens from Moravia with the 3 and Ƥ from Montenegro and the original descriptions by Laska (1965) for S. verrucosa procera and Biesiadka (1975) for S. phreaticus indicated their conspecificity. Thus S. phreaticus Biesiadka should be considered a junior synonym of S. procera Láska.
