T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♀. Typelocality: Bolivia, Santa Cruz, Buena Vista vic, Flora & Fauna Hotel, 22-26/ X/ 02, Morris & Wappes ( FSCA) . Paratypes: 3 specimens. BOLIVIA: Departamento de Cochabamba ; Germain ( MNHN, 1). BRAZIL: Estado do Goías ( MNHN, 1; WOPC, 1) .
D i a g n o s i s: Mostly black; tibiae and tarsi red; each elytron with basal blister, each humeral angle with small fascia, side margin of elytron with yellow fascia.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 4.0 mm; width 1.5 mm. Form: As in Fig. 2 View Figs 1-4 . Head: (EW/FW 20/45). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 85/85); (EL/EW 240/50). Abdomen: Aedeagus ( Fig. 76 View Figs 74-82 ).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, fauna, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
