D i a g n o s i s: Integument mostly shiny black; elytron with three maculae.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 7.5 mm; width 1.1 mm. Form: As in Fig. 7 View Figs 5-8 . Head: Antenna longer than width across eyes, capitulum slightly compacted, apex acuminate; (EW/FW 22/60). Thorax: Subapical depression well defined; pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 120/120); (EL/EW 280/70). Abdomen: Aedeagus (Fig. 67).
V a r i a t i o n: Length 5.0-7-0 mm; width 1.0- 1.1 mm.
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, cauca, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
