Enoclerus rubidus OPITZ nov.sp. ( Fig. 54 )

T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♀. Type locality: Peru, Constancia , Jan. 1857, H. Clark ( MNHN).

D i a g n o s i s: Antenna, mouthparts, cranium, pronotum, and legs red; elytron mostly black, each elytron with two yellow 2 fasciae.

D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 7.0 mm; width 1.5 mm. Form: As in Fig. 54 . Head: (EW/FW 20/50). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 120/120); (EL/EW 290/80). Abdomen: Female pygidium scutiform.

E t y m o l o g y: The species name, rubidus, is a Latin word that stems from "rubeo" (to be red).
