T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♁. Type locality: Bolivia, Rio Negro , 2600 m, 24-27-II-1960, R. Golbach ( MNHN) . Paratypes: 3 specimens. BOLIVIA: Departamento de Santa Cruz ; Rio Negro , 2,600 m, 24-27-II-1960, R. Golbach ( MNHN, 2; WOPC, 1) .
D i a g n o s i s: Mostly black; antenna and legs red; each elytron 3 with yellow fasciae.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 5.0 mm; width 1.7 mm. Form: As in Fig. 52 View Figs 49-52 . Head: (EW/FW 20/50). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 85/85); (EL/EW 210/60). Abdomen: Aedeagus ( Fig. 103 View Figs 101-110 ).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, rionegro, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
