Note. At lower altitudes this species is often found in caves, while at higher altitudes it is generally found in cool and shaded rocky habitats. The species was recorded by Pavesi (1904) in Aosta Valley (Saint Rhemy), in the area of Grand Saint Bernard, on the border with Switzerland. In keeping with Simon (1884), records from Aosta Valley may refer to T. lucifuga . Furthermore, material from Grand San Bernard, recently examined in Isaia et al. (2010), undoubtedly refers to T. lucifuga . The distribution of T. sordellii is centred in the Orobian Alps and Prealps of Bergamo, Prealps of Brescia and Prealps of Lugano.
