Distribution: Nearctic and Neotropical ( Costa Rica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, United States).

Hosts: Argiope argentata (Fabricius, 1775) ; Argiope florida Chamberlin & Ivie, 1944 ; Glyptocranium cornigerum (Hentz, 1850) ( Araneae , Araneidae ).

Habitat: Dry forest.
