Comments. This is the only species with head and prothorax covered by dense and appressed golden-olive pubescence.
Geographical distribution: Brazil, Bahia to Santa Catarina.

Oliveira leg.); Parque Sooretama, 19 males, 5 females, XI.1967 (F. M. Oliveira leg.); São Paulo: São Paulo (Cantareira), male, XI.1952 (H. Zellibor leg.); female, 1.II.1954 (H. Zellibor leg.). All specimens deposited in MNRJ.
Zajciw (1962a) referred to specimens from Rio Muriaé in Rio de Janeiro and Joinville in Santa Catarina.
