Namibia: one female, Zambezi River, Katima Mulilo , 20 July 1996 .
Remarks
Previously reported from South Africa by K. O. Viets (1981).
Genus Karlvietsia K. Viets, 1962 K. O. Viets (1962) placed the genus in the subfamily Frontopodopsinae of the Axonopsidae , but according to Cook et al. (2000) it should be placed in the Hygrobatidae View in CoL .
