Xiphocaridinella kutaissiana Sadowsky, 1930: 95 View in CoL [type locality: Rion cave, western Georgia].

Material examined. 10 non-ovigerous females, 7 males, Western Georgia, 42°16'19.62"N, 42°44'1.63"E, valley of Tshalciteli river, in the cave stream, coll. A. Sokolova & D. Palatov, 27 Sept. 2012.

Measurements. The largest female has tbl.— 30 mm, pcl.— 15 mm; the largest male has tbl.— 20 mm, pcl.— 10 mm.

Remarks. The species clearly differs from the congeners by well developed rostrum armed with numerous small dorsal and one-two ventral teeth ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 ). Rostral form slightly varying in examined specimens but dorsal rostral teeth and supraorbital teeth always present.

Distribution. The species is known from underground area of karst caves of Shaora hollow and Sharaula cave (the type locality), Western Georgia (see Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 ).
