2. Physatta crinita View in CoL HNS . B.M.
Female. Length 5 lines. Ferruginous: the disk of the thorax obscurely so; the abdomen deep fusco-ferruginous; the entire insect thinly covered with pale ferruginous pubescence. The head coarsely rugose; the mesothorax smooth in front, but with deep longitudinal striae towards the scutellum; the scutel- lum very prominent and roughly sculptured; the metathorax with two short stout spines; wings wanting. Abdomen subglo- bose, the base slightly emarginate.
