Two female specimens in IRSNB labelled "Coll. R. I. Sc. N. B. Chine Peking \ Chine A. David [this latter is an older label, glued on the former] \ Type [rectangular red label]", one of them bearing a hand-written large label " Hydroporus vitticeps Pekin " and both with " Nebrioporus spec. Fery 1997 ". H. vitticeps should be considered nomen in litteris and the paternity of this name is unknown to me. Almost surely the two specimens are N. airumlus .
