Notes: —For the typification of this name, we have selected specimens among the exsiccata belonging to one of the two gatherings cited by Coutinho in the protologue of the basionym (Art. 7.3, McNeill et al. 2012): “ Beira littoral: arredores de Coimbra, Penedo da Meditação (Moller, herb. normale [F. Schultz] cent. 18, n.° 1722! J. Henriques!)”. No specimens belonging to the other gathering, “Mainça (M. Ferreira! Moller!) ”, were found. As the author failed to designate the type, a lectotype is chosen among the four syntypes belonging to the first cited collection (Art. 9.5, McNeill & al. 2012) found in BR, M, and S.
