Material examined. Holotype male: BRAZIL, Minas Gerais, Serra do Cipó, Chapéu de Sol: 8.x.1975. Paratype: 1 female, same data as holotype except for: 21.xii.1974; 1 nymph, same data as holotype except for: 17.iv.1974.
Diagnostic characters. General color light brown, forewing length 12.3–13.5 mm in males and 14.5–17.8 mm in females; male paraprocts relatively narrow, simple, apex rounded, male subgenital plate with shallow apical notch; pronotum of nymphs with a pair of elevated discs and small spine at posterior corners, three small spines on meso– and metanotum; spines on abdominal terga 1–10, spine of tergum 10 long and curved ventrad.
