The generic placement of this and species described by Hayami and Kase could be disputed as they do not possess strong radial sculpture. Generic definitions used by Tevesz (1977) and followed by Powell (1979) and Lamprell and Healy (1998) all cite the costate sculpure. We follow Hayami and Kase in ignoring sculpture and defining Cosa View in CoL on hinge and ligament characters alone.
