E. arapascoi Lane 1954b: 117 , fig. 1 (♂ terminalia). Type-locality: Brazil, Santa Catarina, Nova Teutônia. Holotype ♂, NHM.

Notes. The type series included the male holotype and a male paratype. The paratype is at the MZUSP. The labels with the holotype are: “HOLO- / TYPE” [printed in black on a rounded label with red border]” // “HOLOTIPO [printed in black on a rose label with black border]” // “ Brasilien / Nova Teutonia / 27º 11’ S 52º 23’ W / Fritz Plaumann / 12.7.[hw]193[pr]8[hw]” // [abdomen and male terminalia dissected and mounted between microslides attached to a pinned card]” // Epicypta / arapascoi [hw] / det. John Lane 195[pr]2[hw]” / “BMNH(E) # 257180”. The holotype is in good condition, only with the left wing missing. The entire abdomen has been removed for the preparation of the terminalia .
