Forewing M 4-7 branched, hindwing M 2-5 branched. Hypandrium of 1 or 3 sclerites; in the first case, the proximal ends of the side sclerites fused to the central sclerite, in the second case, a large central sclerite flanked by smaller, elongate side sclerites. Two or three pairs of endophallic sclerites, anterior, mesal and posterior, in one case ( L. baiana Moura Lima et al.) a distinct mesal sclerite plus three pairs of endophallic sclerites. Female subgenital plate simple, v2+3 with a proximal heel, ninth sternum variously pigmented.
