Notes
Begonia rossmanniae A.DC. is the only member of this section and is found in the Amazonian forests of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil. It is most closely related to B. sect. Pilderia ( Moonlight & Jara-Muñoz 2017) , sharing with this section a terminal, thyrsoid inflorescence. Unlike members of B. sect. Pilderia , B. rossmanniae is completely glabrous and has conspicuously 3-veined leaves.
