Remarks. Typhlocarcinops stephenseni was described by Serène(1964) after revising the status of Typhlocarcinus nudus Stimpson, 1858 . Ng & Rahayu (2020) comprehensively reviewed the genus Typhlocarcinus and noted that according to Serène (1964), the specimens of “ Typhlocarcinus nudus ” from the Gulf of Thailand and Singapore may also be Typhlocarcinops stephenseni . Also, they noted that there was no confirmed record of T. stephenseni from Southeast Asia and therefore, this species was excluded from the region.
