A valid species, Podalonia chalybea ( Kohl, 1906) ( Dollfuss 2010, Pulawski 2015).

Types. Ammophila (Psammophila) chalybea Kohl, 1906: 271 , ♀. Paralectotype, ♀ "N. Mongolei Leder 92 // chalybea Type det. Kohl // PARALECTOTYPE ♀ Ammophila chalybea Kohl, 1906 [red label]"

Type locality. "N. Mongolei " [= Northern Mongolia, no specific locality]. The type specimens, kept in NHMW: "Irkutsk - Leder leg." ( Kohl 1906) [= Irkutsk, Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, 52°18′N 104°17′E]; "Ala-schan 15./ X.1901 - Kozlow leg." ( Kohl 1906) [= Khürmen District, Ömnögovi Province, Mongolia, 42°20′N 104°00′E].

Discussion. The lectotype is kept in NHMW according to Dollfuss 2010, whereas one female from the type series, with the type label, written by F. F. Kohl.
