Remarks. Images of the holotype (NHMW) were examined. The species is transferred to Tricosa Cognato, Smith & Beaver, 2020 because of the following characteristics: scutellum small, flush with elytral surface; antennal club flat, type 3, with one suture on posterior face; protibiae triangular with five denticles on outer margin; anterior margin of the pronotum serrate; and posterolateral costa absent.
