Key to the Guinea-Bissau species of Lasiocera

1 Pronotum large, oblong-ovate; elytra depressed, intervals larger, elytra yellowish dots/patches ( Fig. 1 f ); posterior margin of elytra not dentated; legs yellowish, femora and tarsi dark brownish............................ L. nitidula Dejean, 1831

- Pronotum narrower, slightly oblong-ovate; elytra slightly convex, intervals smaller, elytra yellowish dots/patches ( Fig. 1 c ); posterior margin of elytra dentated; legs yellowish, knees of femora and tarsi dark brownish............ L. schwarzi sp. n.
