DISTRIBUTION.— It is distributed from southern Nigeria to Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic, including Gabon, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, where it has been recorded in Río Muni at Cabo San Juan ( Boulenger 1903) and Monte Alén ( De la Riva 1994), and on Bioko at Moka ( Hydeman et al. 2017); more recently, it was also reported from Angola ( Marques et al. 2018). Our revision provides additional records from Río Muni ( Map 7B View MAPS ). Descriptions of the advertisement calls from Monte Alén were provided by Bosch et al. (2000).
