Remarks

This is a collection of genera whose phylogenetic affinities to known families were uncertain in an analysis published by Larsen and Wilson (2002); a later listing in Larsen (2005) is also the basis for this classification of the following genus, Leptognathioides . The second genus covered, Portaratrum , was originally classified by its originator in the Colletteidae Larsen and Wilson, 2002 but was informally removed from that family by Guerrero-Kommritz and Brandt (2005); it was not mentioned in Larsen’ s classification.
