Distribution: Previously known from Argentina (Córdoba, La Rioja), Bolivia (La Paz), Brazil (Mato Grosso do Sul) ( Blanchard 1961, Conde-Blanco et al. 2018, Uchôa & Nicácio 2010).

Comments: The examined specimens are the first record of this species from Paraguay (see Discussion).
